KYUSHU TRAIN TIMETABLES

The Shimabara Line runs inside Shimabara penisula, following Ariake sea the last 25 kilometers. Along 43 kilometers between Isahaya city (150,000 people) and Shimabara city (50,000 people), both in Nagasaki prefecture, trains are operated as local services, with frequently stops. The section between Shimabara Gaikô and Kazusa was closed in 2008.
